By accessing or using the GetSoloPay website (getsolopay.com) and related services (collectively, the "Services"), you consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following ways:
1.1 Information Provided by Merchants
When a Merchant registers for an account, we collect:
- Contact Information: Name, email address, phone number, and business address.
- Business Information: Business name, industry, logo, and service details.
- Authentication Data: We use Google OAuth for authentication, which provides us with your Google profile information (name, email, and profile picture).
- Financial Information: We collect routing information necessary to facilitate payouts via Stripe Connect. We do not store full bank account numbers or Social Security Numbers on our servers; this sensitive data is transmitted directly to and stored securely by Stripe.
1.2 Information Provided by Clients
When a Client interacts with a Merchant's public booking or payment page, we collect:
- Contact Information: Name, email address, and phone number provided during booking or payment.
- Transaction Details: Information about the services purchased, amounts paid, and transaction dates.
- Payment Information: Credit card details are entered directly into the Stripe Payment Element. GetSoloPay does not collect, process, or store full credit card numbers or CVV codes. We only receive a secure token and basic transaction status from Stripe.
1.3 Automatically Collected Information
When you access the Services, we automatically collect:
- Device and Usage Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, and interactions with the platform.
- Cookies and Tracking Technologies: We use cookies to maintain active sessions, remember preferences, and analyze platform usage.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- Providing the Services: To operate the platform, facilitate bookings, generate invoices, and process payments.
- Communications: To send administrative emails, SMS notifications, receipts, and platform updates.
- Customer Support: To respond to inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical assistance.
- Platform Improvement: To analyze usage trends, monitor platform performance, and develop new features.
- Security and Fraud Prevention: To protect against unauthorized access, detect fraudulent transactions, and ensure compliance with our Terms of Service.

3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information in the following circumstances:
3.1 With Service Providers
We share data with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the platform:
- Stripe: For payment processing, identity verification, and payout routing.
- Telnyx: For delivering SMS and email notifications to Merchants and Clients.
- Supabase: For database hosting, authentication, and backend infrastructure.
These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and may only use it to provide services to GetSoloPay.
3.2 Between Merchants and Clients
Information provided by a Client during booking or payment (such as name, contact details, and transaction history) is shared directly with the specific Merchant with whom the Client is transacting. Merchants are responsible for handling Client data in accordance with their own privacy practices.
3.3 For Legal Reasons
We may disclose information if required to do so by law, or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect the rights or property of GetSoloPay, investigate fraud, or protect the safety of our users.
3.4 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, user information may be transferred as part of the transaction. We will notify users of any such change in ownership or control.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information. This includes utilizing secure database infrastructure (Supabase), encrypting data in transit using TLS/SSL, and relying on PCI-DSS compliant partners (Stripe) for all sensitive payment data. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as a Merchant's account is active, or as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. We may retain certain information after account closure to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements.
6. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal and operational retention requirements).
- Opt-out of promotional communications (you may not opt-out of essential service-related emails).
